DIY / New led light controller build
« Last post by tangtastic on February 13, 2018, 09:19:15 PM »
Ok folks been out of it for a while, got a little 3ft tank which i hate but was free so cannot complain although it did not stop me ordering a 5x3x3 and will be a upgrade later on in the year

So wanted to do something a little different with this led build thinking pre made led pcbs with cree xpg2 and xtes

the pcbs com in at 100mm x 100mm and has 21 leds per pcb has them in 5 channels 12x 1600ma and the red green and yellow at 600ma

building this for the 5ft tank no point in doing the 3ft and then pulling it all back apart, also i wanted to make the led units modular and just linking by rj45 cables from each light unit

led specs per pcb are

channel 1:2x semiLEDs UV395nm + 2x semiLEDs UV415nm  12V  1A
channel 2:4x XPG2 white 6500K 12V 1.5A
channel 3:4x XPE blue 480NM   12V   1A
channel 4:4x XTE royal blue 455nm   12V   1.5A
channel 5:2x XPE green 530nm + 1x XPE yellow 590nm + 2x EPILEDS red 660nm   12V  600MA

lens for these units are immense
