Still away to go but a step in the right direction.

In relation to powerhead's, no not yet TBH still undecided. as the new seio pumps are out and the sump project has taken over the pumps.

Take a look at the newave powerheads. really good flow and little wattage used. We run 1 4000 on our 5x3x1 coral table and gives really good surface movement.

Right not posted anywhere at all for the past few weeks so thought i had better show my face...lol

Sump update:

3hours mission last night, kind of the thing you wished you hadn't started at 8pm at night.. :41:..but end result is the new sump installed subject to few bits of tidying up...was going to take progress photos, took one but that was it. Will take some piccies tonight.

Also new sump holds more than i thought??????, and had drained the old sump out in to containers and had a fresh 12l batch  made up (65litres in total).....had to make a emergency 20ltrs on top and could still do with a further 5odd litres...as the water level is less than an inch from the top of the return pump

Jobs Left:
Suspend light unit, one of my hi-lo's went for burton so need to replace it,
Sort out a new mount for the phos/carbon reactor.
Make the new skimmer platform more stable
attached cooling fans
Tape up the insulation jacket
